Speak-Easy is conveniently located on the west side of Jefferson City, off Amazonas Drive.

Speak-Easy is a therapist owned company in the central Missouri area, where you will find dedicated and highly qualified professionals specializing in the evaluation and treatment of children and adults with communication and swallowing disorders. Speak-Easy offers a full range of therapy services including screenings, evaluations, therapy intervention, and consultation. These services are provided on-site at the clinic on El Mercado Plaza or at off-site contracted locations.

Speak-Easy is also available for contract with schools, home health companies, nursing homes and hospitals. Speak-Easy currently manages several contracts in the Mid-Missouri area. Speak-Easy provides qualified and credentialed therapists who adhere to contractual agreements and strive for excellence in their therapy.

Meet Our Therapists

All therapists at Speak-Easy are licensed by the State of Missouri Board of Healing Arts and maintain their Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Vickie Lyskowski, MA CCC-SLP

Vickie has been providing speech therapy in the Mid-Missouri area since 2001. She graduated from the University of Kansas with her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Vickie has experience in the clinical, school and home settings; working with a wide range of developmental and neurological disorders. Therapy experience includes: articulation, social skills training, reading, receptive and expressive language, augmentative communication, and functional communication. She has particular interest in augmentative-alternative communication and developmental disabilities.

Samantha Helton, MS CCC-SLP

Samantha has been providing speech therapy services in the mid-Missouri area since 2020. She earned her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at East Carolina University. Samantha has experience in schools, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation. She has worked with individuals of all ages in the areas of articulation, language, social skills, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), fluency, cognition, and swallowing. Samantha has a strong passion for helping individuals develop and rehabilitate their communication skills necessary for navigating daily living tasks and achieving their best quality of life.

Emily Fleming, MS CCC-SLP

Emily has been providing speech therapy in the Mid-Missouri area since 2017. She received her master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Missouri State University. Emily has experience in rehab and school settings working with a wide range of delays and disorders in both children and adults. Therapy experience includes articulation, receptive and expressive language, augmentative communication, functional language, and dysphagia. She especially enjoys problem-solving with her clients' teams to promote independence in communication and life skills.
